9:22 pm – Arrive at Library
- FB: “Let the all-nighter…begin!”
o “I'll be on FB most of the night if someone wants to distract me or needs distraction”
9:30 pm – Work begins on Question 1
9:40 pm – Music - Swagger by Flogging Molly
10:20 pm – Music - “Shinoda & Bennington” playlist
11:45 pm – Music - Murder by Death, all
11:55 pm – Computer logs off, says because of closing time. *heart attack*
12:00 am – Computer lets me log back in. Everything’s still there. *whew*
12:10 am – Computer updates, needs to restart, doesn’t give me a choice. Jesus Christ.
12:15 am – Work resumes on Question 1
1:05 am – Music - “Music Blogs, 04.10” playlist
1:50 am – Question 1 is finished, mothafuckas.
2:00 am – Break time. Go outside for a walk. Far too cold. Come back in.
2:50 am – The completion of a blog post with nothing but funny pictures. Fuck, did I just waste an hour?
3:00 am – FB: “More people should be awake at 3 am.”
3:10 am – I wasted more than an hour looking at funny pictures. How does time move so quickly between 11 pm and 7 am? Work commences on Question 3.
3:15 am – Amp can explodes, thankfully not on computer.
3:20 am – Music - Eff the iPod, TheSixtyOne.com
4:00 am – Computer restarts again. Was warned ahead of time though. But still, these library computers blow…your mom. Or…your dad… Shut up.
4:45 am – Just discovered I can lift the armrests on my chair. Amused.
4:50 am – Determined there are far too few cute girls awake at 5 in the morning. This must be rectified.
4:55 am – Headache! Right…here. I want ice cream.
5:10 am – Whose idea was it to make the backspace key on this keyboard smaller? Pencils have erasers, keyboards have large backspace keys.
5:20 am – Music - Ran out of hearts on The61. Over to Pandora. OHMYGODADVERTISEMENTS.
5:30 am – You know, one of the advantages of writing notes as you go: looking back and realizing it took you two hours to finish a can of Amp. I made that shit last, yo.
5:40 am – The longer I stay awake, the more my attention wavers. The more my attention wavers, the longer this essay will take. The longer this essay takes, the longer I will stay awake. A vicious circle. It just goes round and round. That’s what makes it vicious…and a circle.
5:50 am – I must be falling asleep without knowing it, because there is no way it’s almost SIX O’CLOCK!
6:00 am – Oh hey look, it’s getting light outside. You’d never know it in this bubble death trap. This reminds me of that Buffy marathon. Except, you know, that was fun.
6:10 am – It’s actually getting to the point where I can’t split my attention between my actual work and this timeline. I need to choose one. Hopefully I make the right choice.
6:20 am – Did 10 whole minutes of writing (“write?” “are writing?” “were writing?” Come one spell check; get your head out your ass). Girl passed out on the floor next to me. There can only be one.
6:30 am – Okay, I’m giving myself til 7. After that, fuuuck it.
6:40 am – Girl woke up. We had a nice chat. Just have to write the intro and conclusion and I’m doooone.
6:50 am – I’ve become hyper-aware. @_@
7:00 am – Alllllll done. My eyes aren’t focusing like they should. Woooooo.
Donne with Death
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.

End words - "still as she looked the iron clouds..."
Against his neck, still,
she sighed, as warm as
sheets kicked about. She
moved with him, and looked
to him, so that the
blankets of iron
might roll back like clouds,
just like her strands would
when his hands would part
her hair and face, and
eyes, sweat, and sunlight
gathered there and shone.
“Oh,” she said between
catching breaths, all but
whispered. Drearily
a breeze brushed in, strange
against their hips, and
beneath sheets, her pale
chest did not lift, and
again they were not cold.

Smaug Tattoo
Okay I finally figured it out. The Smaug tattoo I've been looking at wasn't actually on the map to Lonely Mountain. There is a dragon, two in fact, but neither are the design I want.
For obvious reasons, this worried me. With some research, I was led to the book's original jacket cover, which Tolkien himself drew. But that looks like this:
It does have a dragon on the back, but is not the one we're looking for. But! What happens when you take off the jacket cover and look at the original binding?
Might I just say...
BAM!
